Vinski Vrh pri Šmarju is a small settlement in the Šmarje pri Jelšah municipality in eastern Slovenia. It lies in the hills to the south of Šmarje. The area is part of the historical Lower Styria region. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Barbara and belongs to the Šmarje pri Jelšah parish. The oldest parts of the church date to around 1400, but most of the building is from the early 16th century with two chapels added in the 18th century.[3]
